Suitable for beginners through to intermediate potters.

Learn a range of hand-building techniques—including coiling, slab building, and pinch pots—as well as throwing on the pottery wheel. Classes are kept small to ensure individual guidance.

This is perfect for beginners, it’s about having fun and giving the pottery wheel a go.

The cost of the workshop includes clay, (up to 4 goes on the wheel), use of equipment, glaze and both firings for 2 pots.  The class will begin with a demonstration then support from your tutor as you give it a go.  We will glaze (from your choice of 5 glazes) and fire them for you.  If you wish to fire any additional pots there is a cost of $15 per pot.  Pots will be ready to collect 2-3 weeks later, we will contact you when they are ready.  If they are not collected within 2 months they will be disposed of.
