Members have 24/7 access to the studio, except during scheduled term classes and occasional special events. The studio is reserved for members, with non-members only permitted during workshops, events, or brief visits.
Each member is assigned their own workspace, which is for their exclusive use. Respect for shared and personal spaces is essential—tools, equipment, and work that are not yours should not be handled.
-
Studio security is a shared responsibility. Members are issued a personal access code and must not share it under any circumstances. Doors must remain locked at all times, and the alarm must be reset when leaving if you are the last person in the studio.
All members must follow studio health and safety guidelines. Closed-toe shoes are required at all times, and children under 18 must be supervised by a member.
-
All shared tools and equipment must be cleaned and returned immediately after use and must not leave the studio. Members are responsible for cleaning their workspace and contributing to a tidy, safe environment.
Clay and glaze disposal must follow studio systems—nothing is to be poured down sinks. Members are responsible for reclaiming their own clay.
-
Members will be guided on proper glaze use and must follow all studio guidelines. Personal glazes require approval before use.
Firings are completed weekly as needed:
Bisque firing to cone 04
Glaze firing to cone 5/6
All work must be clearly marked. Unmarked or non-member work will not be fired.
-
Apollo is a shared creative space. Members are expected to be respectful of others by maintaining reasonable noise levels, keeping spaces clean, and being mindful of those working around them.
No smoking or pets are allowed in the studio (unless pre-approved). Permanent changes to the space are not permitted without approval.
-
Members may store personal tools and materials in designated areas. Items left unclaimed for more than 30 days may be discarded or become studio property.
-
Members are invited to sell work through the studio gallery:
70% to the maker
30% supports the studio
24/7 Access to the studio
Enjoy full 24/7 access to the studio, giving you the freedom to work whenever it suits your schedule. Access is only limited during scheduled pottery classes or workshops, when certain areas of the studio may be in use. This ensures both uninterrupted personal studio time and a supportive space for group learning sessions.
Use of All Studio Equipment and Tools
Your membership includes access to all shared studio equipment and tools. From pottery wheels and kilns to worktables and essential hand tools, everything you need is available on-site. This allows you to focus on creating and refining your work without the added cost or hassle of sourcing your own equipment.
Dedicated Storage Space
You’ll have access to designated storage space for your personal tools, works in progress, and supplies. This makes it easy to keep your materials सुरक्षित, organized, and ready for your next session, while also helping maintain a clean and efficient shared studio environment.
